An essential place for international glass creation, the MusVerre is located in Sars-Poteries, in the heart of the Avesnois bocage, in a building of rare quality, a real jewel of blue stone. Offering 1,000 m² of exhibition space, the MusVerre reveals a prestigious contemporary collection of glass works by artists from all over the world and also presents many “bousillés”, objects full of fantasy and colors created by the glassmakers of Sars -Poteries between 1801 and 1937. The museum vibrates to the rhythm of temporary exhibitions and numerous events and creative workshops.

The workshop: high-performance equipment for glass creation The Departmental Glass Workshop is a unique place in Europe whose cutting-edge equipment and the arrival of artists of international stature have made it famous. A real center of creation, it welcomes artists in residence and internships all year round. Located in lush greenery, it offers an ideal environment, conducive to research and creation.
